The first 100% Emirati-engineered and developed satellite, manufactured in the UAE at the MBRSC, Dubai

KhalifaSat is an Earth Observation Satellite, designed, tested and manufactured by a team of Emirati engineers and scientists, at the Space Technology Laboratories, Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC). It is one of the world’s most technologically advanced satellites, with 5 patents to its name.

Once deployed into orbit, it will deliver high quality images of earth to the ground station at MBRSC. These images will assist governmental and private organisations all over the world with environmental monitoring, disaster relief, urban planning and much more.
